Techno Module is a patented 200mm grid modular system for the panel board and switchboard manufacturing industry.
It is the result of many years of work in research, development and type-testing at recognised test stations around the world.
Arrangement is completely flexible allowing Front / Rear Access with Top/ Bottom cable entry.
Modular in steps of 200mm in 3 dimensions.
Internally the framework utilises a 25mm grid pattern offering almost limitless positioning. Manufactured from 2mm electrogalvanised powder coated steel profile in RAL 7035 Grey.
The modular base plinth also incorporates all facilities for shipping breaks and transportation in to sections to suit any project requirements.
The Elsteel busbar system uses standard 10mm copper busbar laminations.
Busbar holders are manufactured from specially formulated plastics and can be mounted in any position inside the framework. Rigorously tested to achieve compliance to independent type tests up to 7100 Amps at fault level up to 100 KA for 1 second and now including IEC 61439 Verification!
Fixed type: utilising internal separation plates and compartments to divide the panel into all forms of segregation upto Form 4 Type 7.
Plug In: offering functional units that are removable while the switchboard is energised.

Offering a higher form of personal safety with protection of equipment and environment.
With TM it is possible to work in one section of the switchboard while the rest of the panel is live.
Separation prevents foreign objects or particles resulting from a short circuit in one section to contaminate the whole panel.
Arc Fault Containment is being specified more and more. Specially designed and tested filters allow overpressure caused by the ionisation of gasses to escape out of the compartment through the top of the panel under fault conditions.
This ensures total safety of operators along with reduced downtimes in the event of a fault. Techno Module is tested and certified for Arc Fault Containment to IEC 61641.
Powder coated in RAL 7035 semi-textured finish for low maintenance over many years. Degree of ingress protection for doors and panels is certified IP55 as standard.
Now Verified to the new BSEN 61439 Standard, Techno Module has been tested extensively over many years of research and development and certified by independent test stations around the world. These include ASTA, KEMA & IPH Type Tests to IEC 60439, Temperature Rise and Short Circuit Withstand tests, Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, Arc Fault Tests, Vibration tests etc. and the list continues to grow.
